TDK Boombox

Tech wizards TDK are releasing a couple of portable ghetto blasters in January 2011.
There are currently two models: a 2 speaker version and a 3 spearker one. Both setups have a pair of 6-inch direct drive units to pump out your tunes, but the third speaker is a sub woofer so I think I know which version I'd get.
Both have radio capacities, and you can connect all kinds of mp3 devices via USB, 3.5mm and RCA auxiliary ports.

The mix of old and new in these products works so well. Most analog dials have been replaced with touch screen control panels, except for the two analog dials on either side of the boombox.
The rectangular shape and size of these blasters mean that they can be plugged in and used as a system in your house or you can throw it over your shoulder and go jam outdoors while it runs on battery power.
They will be available online in January 2011 and in stores a month later. The two speaker will retail for $399 and the larger one will retail for $499.
