Huf x Asics Gel Lyte III June 2011

Over the past couple of weeks or so I've started to develop a bit of an unhealthy obsession with a certain classic 90's kick. The Asics Gel Lyte III is in my eyes something special.

New York based Ronnie Fieg is one man who shares my obsession with countless colorways created exclusively for the David Z shoe store in NYC. Looking at his striking make ups was enough to sell the shoe to me.

Here we see the release of the first images of a surprise colaboration between Huf and Asics by way of this new GL3.  

 

Huf introduce to the sneaker a colorway that has a definite US feel to it representing the brands San Fransisco roots. The shoe is looking at a June release which I'm really excited about.

Happily for me, these images have only strengthened my love for this classic runner and I'll continue my hunt for the perfect pair from the array of make ups which are out there.
