Carhartt x Burton Fall/Winter 2011

American workwear favorites Carhartt have teamed up with snowboard giants Burton for a second installment of collaborative outerwear for Fall/Winter '11. I'm a huge fan of Carhartt's classic workwear style, especially when it comes in the form of a winter jacket, and with Burton adding their high quality technical detailing into the mix its hard to fault this stylish yet functional line.

For this season we see a jacket that takes its inspiration from Carhartt's popular Traditional style and a matching bottom option for good measure. Both pieces feature Carhartt's signature duck canvas with a double layer Gore-Tex shall that provides a more comfortable and durable wear.

Both pieces are available in a brown or black colourway from Carhartt stores and accounts world wide. I personally couldn't rock the trousers but that jacket is definitely on the radar for this winter.
