Ed Sheeran w/ Laid Blak @ HMV Institute, Birmingham

Last Tuesday saw the Birmingham leg of Ed Sheeran's current UK tour, supported by Bristol reggae band Laid Blak.

I headed down to cover the event, witnessing first-hand the amazing spectacle of a sell-out concert for fresh UK musical talent.

Both of the acts delivered, somehow managing to exceed my expectations. It’s good to see modern music being performed so well live and receiving such a positive response from the crowd. The show ended with Laid Blak joining Ed onstage
for a special performance of 'Red', perfectly topping off what was a great gig.
