Mishka have revealed a great short film, which depicts a day in the life of a Brooklyn cannabis delivery boy.

"Brooklyn streets are weird enough as is without the aid of certain sticky green enhancers. Fortunately, its all in a days work for the kid, who's more than just his routine, who he serves and what he's pitching. This cycle is far from ordinary. With a few special customers, and some chance encounters, this one day snapshot of a Brooklyn delivery guy takes a few unusual detours and gets into the mind of the Green Monster".

It's great to see a streetwear brand steering away from the typical lookbook and taking more time to create a short movie with an interesting story line. I hope this will influence other brands when deciding which marketing strategies to take up when launching a new collection. Although a great short video, there is no avoiding the Mishka products throughout with skilled camera work paying fine attention to details within certain items. You may remember Bowery Boy's recent post on their Fall '11 preview, you can't deny that Mishka are one step ahead of the game with recent lookbooks.

I feel there is no better way to advertise streetwear than to see real people wearing the brands comfortably living their lives and carrying out their 'jobs'. I mustn't forget to point out also, that the clothes look sick! Welcome to the Mishka lifestyle.
