A Retrospective Look at Stussy's Sneaker Collaborations

The Colognes Sneaker Museum is currently running a retrospective look at the history of Stussy's sneaker collaborations.

The exhibition has on offer virtually every footwear collaboration  that the brand have partaken in and will be on display until early 2012. The museum showcases kicks such as Nike's first foray into collaborations with a clothing label in the form of the original Stussy x Nike Dunk High. This collaboration marked the first time special fabric was used on the iconic swoosh in the form of ostrich leather.

Further Nike collaborations, with whom the majority of joint efforts were created, through many builds such as Court Forces, Dunks and the lime and mandarin Huarache Lights are all on display. Vans, ProKEDS and New Balance are also represented along with Neighborhood, UNDFTD and Mad Hectic

The exclusivity of the kicks was an element that made them extremely desirable, with limited runs on offer through the Stussy Chapters worldwide and nowhere else.

This collection is a gem for any sneaker head and just goes to show the work ethic of the Stussy Tribe and their devotion to design.
