Moreporks "Summer" Headwear

As the word summer in the title suggests, Moreporks are a brand based in the southern hemisphere. They appeared on my radar earlier this year with their tight collection of headwear, and the New Zealand based brand have just launched their summer range.

Three capsule collections of headwear are dropped with nautically inspired colourways, classic block colours and limited runs of fabrics sourced for the cause, all the five panels in the collection look tight. All product is constructed in the home country and feature pig skin suede bills or underbills and boiled leather buckle fastenings.

The nautically inspired pieces bare a striking resemblance to the flags used for semaphore and feature complementary woven labelling. The block colour and limited runs are all completed with a premium leather debossed branding tab on the front panel.

After seeing what Moreporks put out for the previous season, which was stocked by our very own Slam City Skates, the offerings for summer provide a more extensive range but still maintain a representation of the brand's roots in it's limited runs of 20-25 pieces.

Moreporks are definitely one to watch, both now and in the future.
