Air Jordan XI 'Concord'

Described by many as the holy grail of Air Jordans, the XI's have been re-released in the highly sought after OG 'Concord' colourway. Kong is one of a bunch of lucky stockists to receive this hyped shoe and I had the chance to grab some detailed shots of the sneaker.

Orignally symbolising Jordan's historic return in '95 to worldwide basketball fans, followed by his simply magical year in '96, these shoes remain high on the list of must-haves for modern day sneaker fanatics.

As you can see from the pictures, the shoe is wrapped in luxurious eye-catching black patent leather with a white ballistic nylon upper, complimented by an icy blue translucent outsole with royal blue areas.

The execution and presentation of this shoe is flawless, from the box right the way to the shoe design. The translucent purple window in the box reads in small print, “Tinker made them shine, Mike made them fly, you made them iconic.”

A truly remarkable release, and one that will be remembered for years to come. I'm glad to have been able to get some shots a day before release, thankyou Kong.

To anyone still interested in copping a pair, Kong informed me at the end of today they stilll had almost a full run of sizes but stock was limited to just one or two pairs per size, so be quick. Thankfully, I didn't hear of any riots taking place in the UK for the release.
