Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 10:07PM
Some of the sneaker industry's biggest heads have teamed up with lifestyle blog Complex to present their top ten drops of 2011. A who's who of the sneaker world comprising of KITH's Ronnie Fieg, Boylston Trading Company's creative director Frank The Butcher, DJ Clark Kent, Joe Le Puma of Complex, Russ Bengston from the Sneaker Channel and Matt Halfhill the creator of Nice Kicks are the six guys chosen to pull together their best of the best 2011.
The impressive line up have selected some choice lines including Frank The Butcher's Adidas Forum Crest Hi, The Nike Air Mag, Ronnie Fieg x Asics Salmon Toes, The Nice Kicks x New Balance 1500's, Concepts x New Balance 999 "Kennedy" and The Air Jordan Retro III "Black/Cement" to name a few.
Each List makes for a pretty interesting read with a little insight into the reasoning behind each of the choices from the individuals. Complex are
also in the process of counting down the overall top ten from the last year which you can keep track of here. I always find it extremely fascinating to see exactly what industry insiders perceive as their personal favourites and it's refreshing to see that some of the not-so-exclusive shoes feature alongside the limited runs.
