'D-Town' Nike Destroyer Jacket

After peeping the varsity that Bowery Boy posted yesterday it got me in the mood for a bit of a look at the latest destroyer to come out of Nike's 21 Mercer.

As part of their City Destroyer pack, Nike have launched this dope collab with Detroit Lions Defensive Rookie of the Year Ndamukong Suh.

For the home of Motown, the D-Town Destroyer Jacket sits with an all black wool and leather build with juxtaposing white patches and embroidery using the skull and crossbones to rep the city’s hardcore scene. The Detroit area code of 3-1-3 is also highlighted along with a fleur-de-lis sitting on the breast to pay homage to the city's French founder.

Every Destroyer I come across of late gets stronger and stronger and the ideas keep on flowing, creating truly individual pieces in every drop and this make up is completely inline with this theory.

This choice build was commemorated with a launch party at BURN RUBBER boutique in Detroit and the jacket is available through selected Nike Sportswear retailers as of today.
