Ronnie Fieg x Caminando Mountain Mid Collection
Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 12:25AM
It seems the creative genius Ronnie Fieg doesn't believe in having days off, as we see yet another release from don of sneakers. This time in the form of a collaboration with Caminando, a Japanese boots brand. Although it seems Fieg always has a project underway, his designs are second to none and this project has been three years in the making.
These four boots are sublime and I can't help but think the three years was worth it.
Choosing to keep a
hiker boot's silhouette on the base, all of the boots feature the same colour sole. Fieg has however added his own touch by introducing a suede upper, an inside zip up to the collar, pig skin lining, and a Goodyear welt combined with Caminando's trademark premium 'Bilbo' outsole for it's outstanding comfort.
The choice of colourways makes this collection stand out amongst competition, all executed with high precision. Available in navy, black, brown and a brushed leather
leopard print each coming with four sets of laces, the boots are all extremely limited to 36 pairs per colourway.
Available this Friday, December 9th at 11am at Kith NYC, Kith BK and Kith online store priced at $230.
