Fine art publishers Snoeck have just released the latest book by photographer and artist Sergej Vutuc entitled 'Something In Between'.
Carhartt / Work In Progress have co-operated with Sergej on the book which is a retrospective look at the use of the public space which surrounds him. His interest is merely focussed on the use and structure of space and the form and function of those that dwell within it.
About his photographs he says: “I don’t give any description to my images. I leave them to speak for themselves. It’s not about the place where I shoot them or the person, it’s more like a collection of fragments – moments and building stories. Mouth can never say what eyes can see…”
I think the book is beautifully shot and I really like the fact that the imagery is produced using a varied set of techniques. I genuinely enjoy seeing these projects from Carhartt and it never ceases to amaze me at the results that are achieve by all parties involved.
Props to all on this one.
