Nike ACG - Lava Dunk Fall 2011

A while back we brought you some Spring color-ups in the Lava Dunk, and this is the latest update in an ACG inspired model for Fall.
The Lava Dunk, which originates from the Athletics Far East Luxury Line naturally drops in an ACG option for Fall. The make up looks strong and the composition of orange leather, black nylon and red swoosh looks tough and really well balanced.
I sometimes feel highs and mids have a little too much space to play with and what could be a really strong sneaker is left in the lurch because design is focused on the main body of the shoe and the rest feels a bit neglected and basic. Happily this isn't the case with the Lava Dunk and the whole kick feels cohesive.
The shoe will be available from select Nike accounts when we hit fall.
