Asics Gel Lyte III by Junya Watanabe

Japanese designer Junya Watanabe has just unveiled his partnership with Asics with his take of the Gel Lyte III.

In terms of the colourway, Junya Watanabe has moved away from the monochrome collections that we are used to seeing him produce for fashion house Comme des Garçons and has covered the upper in zebra-print patterns, strapped on some neon pink laces and highlighted the midsole with muted gold.

This type of colourway really goes down well within Japanese streetwear culture so it makes sense that this is a Japan-only release.

They're out in October '11 just in case you were going to be swinging by Tokyo.
