Jordan V Retro - 'Independence Day'

The Jordan V is a special shoe for me, it was the first kick to really make me appreciate the art of sneakers. Today saw the release of the Jordan V Retro 'Independence Day'. The white, midnight navy and red colorway looks solid and the materials which include leather and patent leather strangely work on this Jordan. With many Jordan styles sitting with quite futuristic builds, the understated make up of the V has a lot of appeal.
The original design of the sneakers had many features to help improve Michael Jordan's performance even further, including the spring loaded lace-locks and Air cushioning, as well as some choice aesthetic additions - such as a reflective tongue and the famous clear sole unit.
I'm not always a fan of the Jordan colourways but this shoe has it for me, to own a fresh pair of them would be a dream come true.
The Shoe is available as of today from Urban Industry, Crooked Tongues.
