Nike's philosophy of blending retail and exhibition space on the same mat is huge, premium Nike establishments such as 1948, 21 Mercer and Harajuku have all seen this in action with fantastic results.
The latest installation at Bowery Stadium entitled "The Wave" maintains this ideology as part of their "Just Do It" summer campaign, the space houses a specially curated selection of the brand's action sports range. Along with the customary bespoke service the Stadium will also play host to several events, including lectures, live musical performances, film screenings, product launches, and mentoring workshops.
Nike are consistently challenging themselves at the minute with the likes of the UK based "The Pool" and the international ad campaign "The Chosen". The brand's creative team are on point of late and cataloging the events, through the likes of Vimeo, has given us all a comprehensive insight into the legwork behind the majority of projects.
