Mickey Pearce - I Am

There is a strong dubplate culture in the UK that exists largely due to the 'vinyl only' record labels that push for this ethos. One vinyl only label stands at the forefront of this movement, and that label is Swamp81.
Run by dubstep legend Loefah and named after Operation Swamp 81, releases by the label are limited and fly off of shelves at a ridiculous pace. There is no question of the quality of its releases. Two of 2010′s most important UK bass tunes were put out by the label; Ramadanman’s Work Them and Addison Groove’s Footcrab. Joy Orbison’s Sicko Cell was a Swamp81 release as well and to some that was 2011′s most sought after record.
The next release from the label comes from Mickey Pearce and will of course be pressed on 12-inch vinyl like all of Swamp81′s releases.
Titled Don’t Ask Don’t Get b/w I Am,the release will hit store shelves in late October/early November.
The b-side has been floating around the net for a little bit and a radio rip of it from Swamp81′s Rinse FM show can be listened to below.
