Us Versus Them - Holiday 2011 Lookbook & Video

Us Versus Them, a streetwear brand hailing from Southern-California, have just released their 2011 Holiday lookbook video, giving us an insight into the ethos of the brand and the lifestyle's associated with the people behind it, all of which is reflected in their designs.

The stills from the Spring '11 collection depict a hard hitting brand with simple but solid hand-drawn graphics across T-shirts, hoodies, outerwear and headwear. Although I felt this was a strong lookbook with the grainy images working perfectly, Us Versus Them have definitely stepped their game up with the new video.

Featuring the guys cruising around in some American muscle cars, skating, chilling and generally having a good time there is a real sense of family amongst the people behind the brand with a noticeable emphasis on tattoos and smoking. 

It's important to add at this point that everything in the video looks very natural and not put on.

I'm sure you'll agree that the raw and message driven designs of the products are reflected in the rough and ready nature of this crew. The lookbook is filmed very well and pays attention to detailed back prints and embroidery on the hats.

I have good feelings about this brand for the future. The collection will be available from October 14th through the brand's online store.
