Asics Gel Saga "Kill Bill"

Baring an uncanny resemblance to its Onitsuka Tiger Counterpart the ASICS Gel Saga "Kill Bill" does well to translate the infamous retro build. Featuring an upper composed of nylon mesh overlayed by suede, the Saga does block colour right with black tiger stripes and branding cutting through the body of the runner.

The body of the sneaker mirrors the catsuit wornby Beatrix Kiddo during the film's infamous fight scene. The suede holds the colour well and the body of the shoe sits on a speckled mid sole spattered red as a homage to the bloodthirsty nature of the scene.

The mid sole is sandwiched between the shoes body and a deliciously subtle gum out sole finishes off the set up. Dropping early 2013.
