Carhartt x A.P.C Fall '12

The latest joint venture between Carhartt and A.P.C has just dropped with some solid products on offer. The forthcoming season for these icons of menswear showcases a nice fusion of styles with the collection featuring a perfect balance of gents workwear and French style.

Now in its third instalment, the collection shows off classic garments produced to the highest standard of craftsmanship. The collection may be sparse on options but the execution more than makes up for this, playing heavily on the heritage of Carhartt with an abundance of the brands iconic Duck canvas; the characteristic material of Carhartt clothes for 120 years.

The workwear aesthetic features premium detailing such as the use of a red quilted fabric lining adding APC's characteristics to the fray. This collection, in my opinion, is by far the most apt fusion of both brands to date and as each season progresses the product gets stronger and stronger. All product in the collection features the customary A.P.Carhartt branding which remains one of the greatest amalgamations of branding through any collaboration in my eyes.
