Edwin x Oi Polloi 10th Anniversary ED-49

Japanese denim manufacturers Edwin have teamed up with Manchester menswear store Oi Polloi to produce a collaborative jean celebrating the store's 10th year in the business. Using the finest quality denim, the collaboration is limited to 100 pieces and won't be around for much longer.

The design is faultless, combining two of the store's favourite styles: taking the reliable chassis of the ED49 with the pocket detail of the Nashville. The denim itself is 14.5 oz deadstock, green selvage denim from Serge de Nîmes, Cone Mills. 

Oi Polloi branding can be seen on the traditional Edwin leather patch in the form of their signature magpie. It's so refreshing to see a store collaborative on some denim and pull it off exceptionally instead of sticking to a t-shirt which has become staple in recent years. I expected nothing less from Oi Polloi, regarded as one of the UK's finest stores.
