Parra x Stussy: Artist Interview

The amazing collection is now available through select stockists, the latest in Stussy's ongoing Artist Series. As if the products do not stand out and speak for themselves, Stussy have conducted a great short interview with the Dutch designer talking through the various items in the capsule.

"Parra is best known for his curved post-Pop imagery, highly saturated colors, vibrant hand-drawn letters and worlds inhabited by hybrid, surreal characters. Working across drawing, painting, animation and sculpture, Parra creates an enigmatic and instantly recognizable style that defies easy categorization".

This release is no exception to Parra's high standards seen in his works, regularly releasing something new and keeping fans constantly amazed. It's very interesting to hear the artist describe where it all started and gain an insight into his thought process; particularly with regards to his trademark colour palettes and quirky illustrations.

It is satisfying that a collaboration of this sort can happen and Stussy, a worldwide super brand, do not hinder or limit an artist's creativity.
