'Joy Ride' by Sandro

It's not uncommon for Nikon to showcase their latest hardware through the medium of short films, but this latest one grabbed my attention from the get go.

Joy Ride is a beautiful short written and directed by Sandro Miller that follows a troubled motorcyclist on a ride through the city late at night. The film is instantly captivating, and I have a number of questions regarding the protagonist. So will you, I'm sure, once you witness him deliver a baby at around the three minute mark.

Obviously the purpose of this film is to demonstrate the power of the Nikon D800, and the different light conditions and filming speeds show that this latest product from Nikon has what it takes.

The murdered out BMW S1000RR is the real star though, check it out.
