The Secret Garden Party Re-Cap
Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 2:23PM
Last weekend I attended the Tenth Anniversary of The Secret Garden Party, hailed by many to be one of the best UK festivals. Having never gone before I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I was greeted by the perfect blend of features and characteristics from other UK festivals into one amazing experience.
The weather magically got better as the weekend went by; transforming the
tiring slushy mud into clay which in turn created dry ground with Sundays glorious weather. People from different paths all over the world embarked to Huntingdon to take part in the wonderful celebration, with great music and attractions for all ages. So much work goes into decorating the location creating something with no resemblance to the real world.
Personal highlights included the incredible paint fight on Sunday, the drop stage, Laid Blak tearing up the Rhumba Rum Bar and generally walking about seeing all the trippy sights bumping into all the characters.
I'd definitely recommend reaching this festival if you haven't already, easily one of my favourites.
