As we ebb towards the colder months it's time Penfield broke out their finest wares and started dealing with the conditions which the brand have made their own. For spring summer we saw innovative new colorways of old favorites which have become the bread and butter of the Massachusetts based outer ware specialists, winter breaks out a more tonal selection of options which, as always, set them up as the kingpins of the great outdoors.
For this latest lookbook, Penfield once again take to the wilds of America taking in the picturesque surroundings of Camp Wandawega in Wisconsin, having visited Penfields London Offices shortly before the marketing team headed off for the shoot I can express first hand exactly how
excited the team were about the shoot. After months of planning, it comes as no surprise that what we are presented with is a beautifully executed lookbook which not only exhibits the product with aplomb but also shows why the team from Penfield fell for the Camp and chose the location for fall.
The forthcoming season presents an extensive collection utilising premium fabrics and also develops the women's line further than we have seen in previous seasons, tailoring silhouettes and thus making them less androgynous. The collection holds itself together with a variety of mountain parka styles, vests, trousers, shirting, knitwear and jersey as well as luggage and loungewear being included in the lookbook.
As one would expect with the change of climate, layering of course is a key look which is successfully demonstrated throughout the Wandawega shoot with each and every look chosen successfully, creating an aesthetic which is quintessentially Penfield. You can peep the entire lookbook here and you can
expect to hook yourself up mid September through Penfield and their stockists worldwide.
