Parra "Kind Regrets" Solo Exhibition

Parra has an instantly recognisable and iconic style, his post modern pop imagery features highly saturated colors, innovative hand drawn typography and surreal worlds inhabited by people with bird heads, and voluptuous women with round sensual bodies. The self taught graphic illustrator creates these nonsensical images on many different levels, whether it be for exhibition, collaborations, his Rockwell clothing label or simply to support events and causes which are dear to him.
The independent scene has always embraced
the artist for his individual style and in recent years Parra has been selected to work with brands on collaborations such as the seminal Air Max 1 Amsterdam, amongst others. The artist has also worked on a variety of advertising campaigns and shown works in solo exhibitions worldwide.
His latest exhibition entitled Kind Regrets, continues to showcase the type of works which we all know and love. Large scale pieces, which work well because of the sheer simplicity of them, will be exhibited at the HVW8 Gallery in Los Angeles from the 29th September.
