The Fall/Winter 2012 Collection of the Nike x Undercover Gyakusou Running Collection takes the Japanese rituals of reflection, meditation, and the pursuit of the ancient art of the ninjutsu and transitions this onto the brand's latest capsule entitled Autumn Monks.
Nike said of the collection; "Singularly crafted for the art of running, Jun Takahashi’s latest men’s and women’s collections harmonize Nike innovation, function, and high design by tapping into the powerful union of mind, body, and nature." We see the Nike Lunar Speed Lite+ JP and the Free Run V3 each receive the Undercover Gyakusou treatment with the collection showcasing two colorways of the Speed Lite and four of the Free Run V3.
Taking the backdrop of the remote mountains of Nagano as inspiration, it manifests itself in the form of two colorways of the Speed light and four make ups of the V3. Woody tones, crisp blues, maroon and mossy greens give the collection a picture perfect visualisation of it's subject matter. The execution of the collection is on point and hats off to all parties for creating such a successful transition of its chosen influences onto a selection of runners which are delectable.
The full collection will be hitting NSW stockists globally soon.
