It's been a good while since we last saw a collaboration between Carhartt and Vans; the last collaboration manifested itself in the form of three builds of Authentic constructed from suede, possessing a distinctly premium vibe. Having seen the Authentic time and time again over the last year it's refreshing to see that for their latest collaboration Carhartt WIP have dropped the silhouette in favour of the Old Skool.

Vans California Authentic CA ‘Native Embroidery’

For Fall 2012, Vans California present us with an Authentic Slim CA that features embroidery inspired by the ancient Incan culture of Peru, South America.

10 oz. canvas quarters are contrasted nicely by a pigskin toe box, the colourways drawn from the typical palettes seen in Inca jewelry. These two colourways offer a nice alternative to those that are into Aztec prints, but are looking for something a little different.
