We have seen a couple of strong make ups of the Saucony Grid 9000 over recent months from the likes of Packer Shoes and Sneaker Freaker’s ‘Bushwhacker’. It’s now the turn of Cali’s BAIT to get down to business on the techy runner and create the ‘Viridian Burner’.
For the holiday season Vans California present this new model – The Mesa Moc. Hybrids are doing it at the minute and this relaxed chukka-esque number combines Vans Classics The Moc and the 106, successfully creating a silhouette which is very much its own.
Vans California hardly ever put a foot wrong, their releases push the envelope on the regular and this latest one for AW '12 is no different. It's dubbed the 'Birds' Authentic CA Pack, and as you might expect, we see two colourways featured: a deep blue and hunter green, both draped in a rather heritage looking bird motif.
For Fall 2012, Vans California present us with an Authentic Slim CA that features embroidery inspired by the ancient Incan culture of Peru, South America.
10 oz. canvas quarters are contrasted nicely by a pigskin toe box, the colourways drawn from the typical palettes seen in Inca jewelry. These two colourways offer a nice alternative to those that are into Aztec prints, but are looking for something a little different.
