Asher Roth - Dude ft. Curren$y

Even as he prepares for his European tour (tickets here) Asher Roth still has time to drop a freebie via his soundcloud page, and it's a good one.

Here's what he had to say about it - "I've realized that it's ASH WEDNESDAY. What would Ash Wednesday be if I didn't release a tune? I wanted to drop you a track I did with my fellow happiness enthusiast Curren$y."

As he points out, these two rappers have quite a few things in common, and you can tell they had fun with this Blended Babies produced track. That bass line is just begging for bars to be spat over it, the takes for this must be incredible. Stream/Download Dude below.

Video: Stalley "Hammers & Vogues" ft Curren$y

Stalley is back with yet another sweet visual from his latest mixture Savage journey to the American Dream. This time the artist provides visual treatment for the track Hammers & Vogues featuring Curren$y, one of my favourite rappers at the moment. 

The footage was put together by director BMike, who captures the duo spitting their bars, cruising in cars and smoking grass around some residential areas in the States.

Curren$y - The Stoned Immaculate

So Flossy and I have been anticipating this album for a while; it dropped on Tuesday and has already amassed an outrageous amount of plays on my iTunes.

We've previously featured a couple of cuts off of the LP; namely Fast Cars Faster Women (ft. Daz) and Capitol (ft. 2 Chainz).

The Stoned Immaculate completely lives up to my expectations. The jazz flute infused beats of Capitol sit nicely next to 'harder' tunes such as No Squares (ft. Wiz Khalifa). Curren$y has put together a really nice body of work on this record.

My favourite track off the album is Chasin' Papers, which features Pharrell. That dude has the Midas touch.

Curren$y - Capitol ft. 2 Chainz

Breezy NOLA rapper Curren$y drops The Stoned Immaculate next month, a release from which we’ve already heard What It Look Like (ft. Wale) and the Daz collab Fast Cars Faster Women.

Capitol is the latest cut from the album and it's got a jazzy, flute-laden vibe to it that I dig quite a bit. The track also features a verse from  ATL rap chameleon 2 Chainz, who seems to have his finger in every figurative pie at the moment.

Stream their collaboration below, it's decadent as hell and I love it. The Stoned Immaculate will be out on June 5th.

Video: Curren$y Ft Daz - Fast Cars Faster Women

Curren$y has just revealed these dope visuals for his recent collaborative track Fast Cars Faster Women alongside West Coast rapper Daz Dillinger.

As we have come to expect the video features the duo spitting their bars surrounded by women and cars, as well as an excessive amount of weed smoke.  

The track will be appearing on Curren$y's upcoming anticipated project The Stoned Immaculate which is set for release on June 5th.

To be honest hings have been quiet for this Houston rapper for a while, but Slim Thug isn't dead yet. He has shattered the silence with this latest release, a tune produced by fellow Houstonian Dre Day and featuring Curren$y (a FH favourite).

Diamond Supply Co. don't shy away from their love of marijuana. It's only approproate then that they release this EP from The Alchemist & Curren$y alongside some limited edition Diamond Supply Co. Covert Coup Tees, a Crewneck Sweatshirt, and Grinders on the 20th of April, at 4:20pm.

JBF Custom Nike Blazers "Jet Life"

JBF pay homage to rapper Curren$y with their latest custom sneaker.

Titled "Jet Life" after Curren$y's mix tape, this Nike Blazer Mid is decked out with some unique custom treatment such as the glow in the dark swoosh modified into a flying jet leaving a trail of smoke, a high quality cow suede upper, custom tongue tags that read "Jets Do It" and a glow in the dark heal tab in the shape of the rappers hand sign.
