Drake - Over My Dead Body (Star Slinger Remix)

If you're anything like me you've had Drake's Take Care on repeat since it's release. If you haven't listened to that album I highly recommend you do. It features production from his go-to producer and long time friend 40, who's style is minimal, using choice piano loops over spaced out drums. In interviews, 40 states he did this in part so Drake’s voice is the focal point of a track, and not the other way around. I can't fault him, I love a steamy R&B Drake tune, but I also do enjoy intricate beat patterns and complex production arrangements. That is exactly what Star Slinger delivers with this remix. Drake - 'Take Care' Leaked

Take Care is one of the most anticipated albums of 2011 and it has found its way on to the internet just a week before its official release. Initially the leak only consisted of two tracks; “Lord Knows,” featuring Rick Ross and the title track, which features Rihanna, that leaked from Drizzy's sophomore album.

Now the entire thing is has hit the net, which prompted Drake to tweet, “Listen, enjoy it, buy it if you like it...and take care until next time.”
