Ronnie Fieg's latest KithStrike release come in the form of this OG ASICS Gel Lyte lll. The iconic runner receives a dope reconstruction with its predominantly white leather and mesh upper with a purple mudguard alongside eye catching orange accents including the models signature split tongue. The piece also features black accents throughout setting the colours apart and come with an additional pair of purple and white tope laces.

Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III "Selvedge"

Ronnie Fieg is set to squeeze in one more release of the iconic Gel Lyte III before the year is out. On this occasion, the Asics maestro moves away from his customary pigskin suede and takes a somewhat unusual approach by applying premium selvedge denim to the upper of the runners.

The first shot of the shoes appears gracing the cover of the latest edition of Sneaker Freaker and makes for a nice teaser. The indigo coloured upper is complimented by red and white accents; synonymous with the edging of top quality denim. Fieg accents the upper in a fashion in which only he can, balancing colour perfectly from tip to heel. Tube laces finish the make up, something which has been making a regular appearance on the build lately.

Ronnie Fieg - Asics Gel Lyte III "Total Eclipse"

The only person to have almost as many Asics collaborations under his belt as Asics themselves readies himself to drop this delightful collaboration on his favourite silhouette, the Gel Lyte III.

Ronnie Fieg works his magic once again mixing suede and leather in a fashion only he can, with the texture of the two working off each other in a sublime fashion. Deep red accents weave their way through the upper which is perched on a striking white midsole.

Tube laces finish off this striking build in a manner adopted on several Asics builds recently, namely the woei collaboration 'Cervidae'.

ASICS Gel Lyte III for Fall/Winter '12

We love our Asics at FH, although all of the pairs we own are the result of collaborations. This might be about to change as we're presented with a tidy black/purple colourway of their successful Gel Lyte III, set to drop in September. A purple tongue, collar and laces, coupled with green suede overlays are all set on a backdrop of black mesh and suede. This is one of the stronger colourways to come out of the Asics camp without any outside influence.

It drops next month.

WOEI x asics GEL LYTE III ‘Cervidae’

The latest in the long line of collaborations on the Asics Gel Lyte III today arrives in the form of this perfectly executed pair, jointly worked on with WOEI.

The colorway is on point; tan/brown with a cris white overlay which draws it's inspiration from the sneakers namesake deer family Cervidae.
