Montana Colors 2013 Limited Edition Cans

Montana have kicked off the new year with a new set of eye catching limited edition cans.

The five selected artists to put their trademark styles onto the cans are Belin, Mistery, How & Nosm, Kofie and Roid. As with the last series, each is presented in a custom wooden box stamped with the specific artist's seal.

All of these look dope but for me it's all about ROID's design; one of my favourite writers, he holds it down for the UK. There's only 500 of each so don't sleep on it.

Anthony Lister 'Unslung Heroes'

Australian artist Anthony Lister is set to open simultaneous exhibitions next weekend at both Lazarides the Outsiders locations in London & Newcastle. Unslung Heroes will feature portraits of after-party revelers, rendered in his incredibly loose style in a red, black and white color palette as well as some sculptural works, which I am extremely excited to see. In the build up to this show, Lister has taken to the streets painting mural after mural, peep some of his work below.

I've got a lot of time for Mike Giant. The tattoo artist and graffiti writer was recently approached by The C/S Project to weigh in on the history and meaning of the C/S symbol, from his perspective. In the 6 minute interview he addresses the meaning of con safos, his first encounter with C/S in New Mexico, and its presence in tattoo culture.

Vapour Trail Series: SheOne

Renowned graffiti artist SheOne opens the Vapour Trail Series for London-based collective End Of The Line. This nicely shot short film shows the artist working on one of his popular abstract paintings, offering an insight into the process and the methods undertaken.

A fitting choice to kick-start the series, SheOne has been holding it down in London since the mid '80s. In recent years his artwork has seen him travel the world; a true example of a successful transition of art from the streets into the gallery.

Black Scale recently commissioned legendary LA writer APEX to paint a dope mural on their newly opened Haight Street flagship store, marking the brand's fifth anniversary.
