Nike Air Huarache OG Retro Launch at Wellgosh 21.02.13

Last night I went over to Wellgosh in Leicester to attend their launch party for the highly anticipated re-release of the Air Huarache OG Retro. Offering the opportunity to secure a pair (or two) of the sneakers before the midnight release, the store held a great event and was flooded with customers from start to end.

Nike Huarache Free Spring '12 White / Soar-Cyber

When I initially saw this latest addition to Nike's Huarache family, I was instantly reminded of the 1991 debut of the shoes with a colorway not a million miles away from this creation.

The '91 release used a similar dress out, albeit this latest release is up-hued slightly making for a brighter finish to the kicks which works well on the silhouette.

Nike Black History Month Collection

As part of their ongoing support of Black History Month Nike have once again successfully pulled together a tidy collection of sneakers and several clothing options.

A Destroyer jacket, snapback, tee, Air Force 1, Blazer, Huarache Free and an Air Max 1 are the pieces which acquire the BHM branding and make for a collection of pretty big hitters out of the Nike stable.
