Flosstradamus - Lana's Theme

This duo from Chicago, Illinois are pretty much unstoppable at the moment. They've been dropping free tunes left right and center recently; this Lana Del Rey remix is by far my favourite of the crop. Her voice lends itself to electronic music beautifully, and I'd rather listen to remixes than her depressing-ass album.

Terry Urban - Born Ready To Die Mixtape

In honour of Biggie Smalls passing away fifteen years ago, Terry Urban has put together this interesting mixtape featuring the music from Lana Del Rey's popular album Born To Die and the lyrics from Notorious B.I.G's 1994 debut Ready To Die.

Terry Urban hasn't been the only one paying their respect to the legendary rapper, over the past couple of days I've come across a handful of dope mixtape's and mix's but this is definitely one that needed to be featured.

In the lead-up to the release of her LP Born To Die, Lana Del Rey has dropped an 'Offical Audio' video for the album's title track, which is another lethargic number built on mysterious noir-pop textures in which she muses about longing for someone to bring some form of light to the dark void that is her life.
