TNGHT - EP Preview

Honestly by now you should know who TNGHT are, Lunice and Huson Mohawke are pioneers in bass music. The fact that these two dudes have come together to put out an EP is very exciting, as both of them push the limits of production with everything they put out. This EP will be no exception.

TNGHT - Bugg'n

There is a substantial amount of hype surrounding TNGHT, all with good reason. Lunice and Hudson Mohawke, two huge names in bass music, have joined forces to create something next level. Their self titled debut EP is coming out on July 23rd, via Warp x LuckyMe, and it's safe to say that this will be one of the summer's most anticipated releases. Preorder it here.

Dell Harris - Monopoly (Prod. by Lunice)

It goes without saying that Lunice is one of my favourite producers. His style absolutely suits my taste for bassy Hip Hop instrumentals, and he's at it again with this latest joint that he produced for Dell Harris (of AC & Dell).

I haven't heard much from Dell before, and he may not have the greatest rap chops, but he definitely flows with this track perfectly. If I was a rapper, Lunice would be my first choice to produce my album. Stream/Download Monopoly below.

Lunice's standards are extraordinarily high, and I'm into pretty much everything he puts out. This tune is no exception.

The Fader released a new track yesterday, which comes as the fourth installment of their X Squared series that aims to partner 10 rappers with 10 dope producers for collaborative tastiness.

Diplo & Lunice - Vow Remix

These two talented individuals have teamed up for another remix. After their previous collaborative work on Deerhunter's Helicopter went down a storm and essentially put Lunice on the map, it makes sense to do it again - except this time, it's better.

Lunice - Swag Memorial 2011

It's no secret that I'm a massive fan of Lunice. I have been making a point of documenting his releases since I discovered the original don of swag bass for myself in June.

On Wednesday Lunice released this dope new mix via The Fader, a sick magazine/blog that you should check out if you haven't already. The 30 minute mix has one of the tightest track lists I've seen in a long time. Lunice plays tunes that he's favoured this past year and some brand new ones like Al Ripken's Clap Ya Hands.

It's awesome from start to finish.

Lunice & Young L - Hip Pop

Lunice and Young L have collaborated to produce this track and their styles compliment each other perfectly. Young L's flow is almost synchronised with Lunice's deep, wandering beats.

I hope they get back in the studio to work together again soon, because what they produce is pure swag.
