Carhartt Work in Progress rekindle their collaboration with Mastermind JAPAN by releasing one of WIP's most familiar reappropriated silhouettes which exhibits a suitable amount of Japanese styling.

It's the CAR-LUX thermal jacket which arrives in a build which has Mastermind written all over it.

mastermind Japan x APLHA Tight N-3B Jacket

Mastermind Japan recently joined forces with military and flight jacket specialist, APLHA for the release of this TIGHT N-3 jacket that combines ALPHA's impressive functionality with Mastermind's iconic design work. The piece is available in a black or sage green colourway with a removable fur hood and dual branding, including Mastermind's skull logo embroidered across the elbows, an ALPHA pocket tag and large red zipper ribbon quoting the words Remove Before Flight. Available here in limited numbers. I need to get my hands on that green option.

NEIGHBORHOOD have collaborated with another Japanese powerhouse, mastermind JAPAN, to put together a few choice items, but what really caught my eye out of this recent project was this beautiful incense chamber.

mastermind JAPAN x Carhartt AW '12 Capsule Collection

Carhartt have once again been enlisted by mastermind JAPAN to help create a new capsule collection this Autumn/Winter.

The collection consists of three items; a coat, sweat parka, and work pants. The hardware comes courtesy of Carhartt, whilst the master collaborator adds finishing touches such as premium materials, fur, golden zips and toggles, as well as multiple appearances of the MMJ Skull motif. This image is all we have to go on right now but the prospect of Carhartt durability combined with Japanese finesse is extremely enticing.

mastermind JAPAN x Citizen Alterna Chronograph Preview

This watch, which is the result of a collaboration between mastermind JAPAN and Citizen Watches, was unveiled at this year's Baselworld (one of the world's largest watch and jewellery shows) and from what I can see in the preview shots, it's looking just right.
