Shawn Powers Palace Edit

Shawn "The Ghost" Powers, a skater that lurks in the New York underground, has come strong with his latest Palace edit. Hailing from Queens, Powers really oozes OG east coast style. Like all Palace videos this is completely filmed on VHS cameras, to great effect. 

This edit feels like one of the classics. The Ghost hits up most of New York in this one, stomping street spots, dodging traffic, and doing mad ollies over everything. His style, the VHS, and the soundtrack all come together to create something which feels like a throwback, in the best way possible.

Smoke DZA (Ft. Joey Bada$$) - "Gotham Fucking City" (Video)

Smoke DZA has released a visual for "Gotham Fucking City" from his 2012 mixtape K.O.N.Y. featuring Brooklyn MC Joey Badas$$.

Badas$$ can do nothing wrong at the minute delivering yet another killer verse working nicely alongside Smoke DZA's chilled New York flow. Both MC's hold their own on this tough track with a dope beat produced by the legend, J Dilla.

The video is tight and one of the best I've seen for a little while.

Those of you following Joey Bada$$ may have seen hints over the past few months towards a collaboration with Stussy. Well yesterday, this was confirmed with the release of this exclusive tee in conjunction with Joey and The Progressive Era crew.

The front of the tee features a picture of the crew; a nice change to the majority of Stussy collabs we tend to see. The names of the individual members are listed on the reverse.

The highly anticipated music video for DyMe-A-DuZiN’s Swank Sinatra has finally been unveiled. The track features Pro Era affiliates Joey Bada$$, Capital STEEZ, and CJ Fly and is a brilliant introduction to DyMe for those that may not be familiar with the young NYC rapper. I've been saying it for a while, but New York rap is of a high calibre right now. DQM & Cliché - The Best of Both Worlds Video

Last week, French skateboard company Cliché travelled to New York to celebrate the launch of their collaboration with DQM. An instore signing with Cliché skaters took place and then both crews headed to the legendary Coleman Park to tear it up, skating through some busy traffic en route.

All is captured in a great video which can be seen after the jump. The collection consists of two skateboard decks, a tee, snapback, and a wooden cork screw.

BRKN Queens (Video)

Videographer Marino Capitanio has released this dope slow motion skate video. Spending a day at Astoria Skatepark in New York City armed with his 60D, he was able to capture some good skate footage which he has edited into this slick short edit.

Marino has mastered the slow motion and colour correction methods with the perfect filter effects applied in post production.
