Zoo York 20th Anniversary Decks

Zoo York are currently celebrating the commendable achievement of reaching their 20th Anniversary after founding in 1973. 

To celebrate two decades in the skate game, the brand have released a small collection of limited edition skate decks paying homage to their years of service. 

All of the decks look dope and are definitely worthy additions to my wall. The decks are now available at select stores and come with matching tee's.

5boro 'Corner Store' Deck Series

New York-based skateboard company 5boro have quite a following in London, thanks to their legit ethos, sick skaters (Willy Akers is a BEAST) and dope graphics.

This latest series is no different, this time paying tribute to staples of the American convenience store. 5boro love to spoof existing designs, and they're extremely good at it.

ROA 'Decay' Skate Deck Series

FH favourite ROA is back at it again, this time teaming up with The SK8room to release a limited run of dope skate decks. 

Entitled the Decay series, the collection consists of three decks featuring the artists' trademark style animal art which can now be found in almost every major city around the world.

Limited to 125 unsigned and 25 signed decks, they can now be purchased here. Don't sleep on this one, they'll be snapped up sharp. The middle deck is next level.

New Wood from Rockwell by Parra

Rockwell by Parra have released this skateboard deck for AW '12, which features a screen print of Parra's unique art on a Canadian Maple board.

The Dutchman is well known for his surreal, bird like, characters which are the dominant feature of his Rockwell line of clothing. I'm a sucker for good skateboard art so the combination of Parra and this medium appeals a lot to me. I would end up skating it for sure though. It's an 8 x 31.9 and is available at select retailers if you're interested. 

Girl "Acid Drop" Deck Series

Popular skateboard label, Girl have just revealed a fresh run of trippy decks dubbed The Acid Drop series. The pro model collection features seven designs for team riders Eric Koston, Sean Malto, Cory Kennedy, Brandon Biebel, Guy Mariano, Alex Olson and Mikemo Capaldi all of which feature the classic psychedelic tie dye effect.

5Boro Skyline Logo Decks

5Boro come correct yet again with this small capsule release consisting of four skateboard decks incorporating the classic NYC skyline theme.

The decks were designed for pro skaters Joe Tookmanian, Danny Falla, Willy Akers, and Dan Pensyl and have now been made available to the public.

Western Edition "Bitches Brew" Skate Decks

Over fourty years ago legendary Jazz musician, Miles Davis commissioned artist Mati Kiarwein to design the cover art for his 1970 album Bitches Brew. For Spring/Summer 12' skateboard label, Western Edition has brought the work back to life in this new series of skate decks.

The collection features four decks spreading the artwork across the top and underside of each piece.

Cop the full set from the FTC online store, these would look dope on anyones bedroom wall.
