adidas Skateboarding S/S '13 ADICOURT ‘Gonz’

The latest sneaker from the adidas Skateboarding camp for Spring Summer 2013 is this delicious AdiCourt, styled by the legendary Mark Gonzales.

The padded reinvention of the classic Originals silhouette comes in a vibrant blue tone with slick black accents throughout.

Dropping at select retailers very soon, this is close to my perfect summer skate shoe.

Introducing the New Balance Numeric Team

New Balance entered the world of skateboarding in December, and with it came some controversy, as the subject of large corporations involving themselves in skateboarding is an extremely divisive issue amongst skateboarders.

However, NB persisted and developed their own unique take on the skateboard market. They officially unveiled their inaugural footwear options with Mike West in January of 2013, and I have to say there are some tidy options on offer. It's just a matter of time before we can see how good they are to skate in.

In the build up New Balance Numeric have put together this short video to introduce their skate team, which features skateboarding heavyweights Arto Saari, Levi Brown, Tom Karangelov and PJ Ladd.

Huf Canada in LA

Huf's Canadian skate team recently took a trip to the sunny streets of Los Angeles as part of their latest work alongside Concrete Skateboarding magazine. During their travels this short video was put together to showcase the talents of each rider including Zander Mitchell, Brett Gifford, Bryan Wherry and Mike Vince, as they tear up some dope spots across the city including huge banks and ledges, while each rider is kitted out head to toe in some of the brands freshest gear.

Inspirational freestyle skateboarder Killian Martin is back with another video. Put together by Brett Novak, also responsible for Marines Prevues concept skate videos and it's safe to say that this is one of my favourites to date.

This latest cut captures the Spanish boarder doing what he does best with his unique creative approach against the backdrop of the beautiful and colourful scenes throughout India.

Zoo York 20th Anniversary Decks

Zoo York are currently celebrating the commendable achievement of reaching their 20th Anniversary after founding in 1973. 

To celebrate two decades in the skate game, the brand have released a small collection of limited edition skate decks paying homage to their years of service. 

All of the decks look dope and are definitely worthy additions to my wall. The decks are now available at select stores and come with matching tee's.

Van Styles x Primitive S/S ' 13 MIA/LA Skate Decks

Primitive have called in the services of good friend and famed photographer Van Styles to produce a small run of photo decks as part of their MIA/LA collection.

In Styles' signature style, the decks feature beautiful women including Ashley Sky, Iesha Marie, and Valeria Orsini shot in a variety of locations.

Each deck features subtle Primitive branding in different coloured font to compliment the board design. Available instore and online now.

Brandon Westgate in Boston

Following on from his early days as one of 5boro’s team riders East Coast pro skateboarder Brandon Westgate has gained a lot of attention after his impressive part for the brand's Word of Mouth video back in 2004 that has since provided him with endorsements from the likes of Birdhouse, Zoo York and Emerica Footwear as well as making Reynolds' shortlist of best young skateboarder.

The rumours are true, the Emerica team will be in the UK in April. At the end of the month, Andrew Reynolds, Bryan Herman, Jerry Hsu, Tom Knox, Rob Maatman, Oscar Candon and Casper Brooker  will be in Newcastle, Manchester, Derby and London.

Thrasher 'Escape From SOTY Island'

So this latest video from Thrasher Magazine features David Gonzalez, Grant Taylor, Collin Provost, Pedro Barros, Louie Lopez, and Geoff Rowley. Needless to say, the skating here is absolutely incredible.

The mag took Volcom’s heavy hitters (three of them have won Skater of The Year) on a trip through Hawaii. Pool shredding and gnarly street spots galore, this video is a must see. Watch it below.
