INSA x Rone Gif-fiti Mural

Popular street artist and designer INSA is back with yet another one of his impressive Gif style graffiti murals and probably one of my favourite to date. The UK based artist put together this dope piece alongside Melbourne's Rone who is known for some of Australia's most iconic street posters that can be found hidden in overpasses throughout Melbourne.

The duo managed to create this large detailed piece that consists of four separate mural's that features one of Rone's signature portraits sitting on a checkered background using INSA's recognisable style and two tone colour palate.

Moneyless in Rome

Born in Milan and raised in Tuscany, Moneyless' art is characterized by an investigation on the rawest elements of life and it is almost always in continuous state of evolution. He found his artistic feet on the street, grounding his roots in the '90s graffiti/writing scene.

I wanted to undress the letters from the alphabetical presence” he says – then Teo started focusing on the pureness of the shape, the pregnancy of geometry in the fundamentals of life, gradually taking distance from walls and lettering - “My efforts then dropped the symbolic meaning of the letter”.

Offering an insight into the great artist, this video captures the process from taking the initial photographs, scouting for locations, to pasting up the huge images and orchestrating a team of workers for the larger works.

Zio Ziegler in San Francisco & Los Angeles

California native Zio Ziegler has been hard at work in two of the cities in his home state recently, posting up murals in nearby San Francisco before heading south to paint in LA.

This 24 year old's style is fantastic, and although he paints both in the studio and outside, his murals are what caught my eye. They're vibrant and have an organic feel to them, with subject matter ranging from contorted human figures to skulls, lions, tigers, crowns, crows, the list goes on. His paintings fit the landscape like a glove, as his unique style sublimely compliments the Californian environment.

Check out some of his more recent pieces below.
