Paris based Brooklyn We Go Hard have just released their spring summer 2013 lookbook which draws inspiration from the colourful fishing village of Burano in Italy.
The new collection looks perfectly at home in the idyllic surroundings of the village with the palettes balancing perfectly with the surroundings.
Based in the South-West of England, KNOWN Worldwide have some pretty big aspirations. The brand started off on the right foot by getting their local community involved in the design process by inviting creatives to submit ideas which were, if successful, to appear on their first range of tees.
My first introduction to Parisian brand Brooklyn We Go Hard was at Jacket Required last fall for spring and I was impressed to say the least. The brand was created by two friends who shared an interest in photography and fashion, their first collection fused these passions and, in the natural order of a brand's evolution, they dropped a tee collection.
If there's one thing you can rely on from ONLY NY it's a hefty seasonal drop and for fall this is exactly what is presented to us. The brand, as is customary, drop an extensive collection of tees which showcase a variety of graphic and typographic prints which draw inspiration from a multitude of sources.
Patta have revealed their latest lookbook for Summer '12. The Amsterdamers continue to showcase premium fabrics, a clean design aesthetic and quality construction.
The infamous Patta logo continues to make an appearance on tees and sweats, whilst Pocket tees, crewnecks, tank tops, denim button up shirts, varsity jackets and hoods also appear in the strong collection.
Season after season Penfield deliver without a shadow of a doubt and Spring/Summer '12 is no exception to this.
For the coming season the brand once again present us with an extensive selection of gents and ladies product which includes taking some familiar silhouettes and giving them a seasonal overhaul. What we see is the lookbook taken in a direction whereby the 'outdoor' silhouettes which we are accustomed to seeing from Penfield are transitioned into an everyday look. An example of this is how the familiar mountain parka is given a new lease of life using Pastel blues, Vivid Yellow and other such colorways.
The collection consists of a number of well executed jackets, Oxford shirts, shorts, tees, sweats, body warmers, trousers, five panels and some items of luggage.
As we move steadily through winter and amble towards the new year, Copenhagen based Norse Projects drop a capsule Pre-Spring Collection.
Comprising of a seven piece range, the collection has the minimal aesthetic one comes to expect from NP with a clear inspiration taken from the training field, which is also evident from the cover imagery.
