With the warmer weather apparently chomping at the bit to please us right now, it's evident that summer is fast approaching. Halvø Shores are just about to drop a capsule collection entitled The Coast Line Speckle Pack which delivers a small but perfectly formed set of tees to bolster your summer wardrobe.

Busy lives often mean a few great tunes miss the radar every now and again like this face melter from one of Glasgow's top electronic producers, Rustie. Like every other release from the man the tunes are packed full of energy using electrifying synth stabs and epic drum rolls. Released 18th March via Numbers 'Triadzz' is the A side with 'Slasherr' on the flip which is just as heavy.

Rinse FM DJ Oneman has launched a new series of mixes dubbed Solitaire, which will be showcasing how his knowledge stands firmly in the worlds of rap music and UK bass. Lithuanian born, London based, electronic producer Slam Sounds rolls on the start of the new year with this superb 5 track EP titled Invisible Forces. After many setbacks, this long awaited release clearly demonstrates his ability to deliver a diverse but accurate collection of what is current and in demand right now whilst still having the feeling of something very fresh. I first heard of Slam Sounds from a video appetiser released a few months back. The short but sweet 30 second preview, made by his brother filmmaker/editor Junas Grybe, left us excited for the release which hasn't let us down in the slightest.
UK house poster boys are at it again with this new tune dubbed White Noise which comes as a collaboration with another UK duo, AlunaGeorge, that conists of Aluna Francis on vocals and George Reid on production duties.
I've said before that Disclosure have a knack when it comes to selecting good vocalists for their sound, and their talents have not wained in the slightest. Aluna lends her incredible vocals brilliantly to this very old school track.
I haven't written anything about Vanilla since May of last year, but the UK producer has made it worth the wait with For What It's Worth, his most recent beat tape.
Here's what he had to say about it.
"For What It's Worth is a collection of 20 outtakes and loose instrumentals made over the past year that I felt could use a home. There's a slightly jazzier vibe here than my other stuff but overall there's no real unifying theme. I am working hard on the proper follow up to Soft Focus as well as some other major projects so hopefully 2013 should be an eventful year."

See No Evil is the UK's largest permanent street art project. It kicked off in 2012 when 72 artists, including some of the biggest names in graffiti in the world, descended on Nelson Street in Bristol, painting through the night to create a permanent cultural legacy for the city. 10 buildings, a bridge, 6 mega cranes, 326 metres of street, 26 scaffold towers, 325 litres of emulsion and 13,400 cans of paint went into creating this celebration of an art form very close to Bristol’s heart.
Since then, street artists from all over the world have travelled to Nelson Street to showcase their work at this huge outdoor gallery.
This young UK duo have been going from strength to strength this year and their latest effort, dubbed Gold, might just be the crown jewel.
Gilded, soulful vocals take center stage here, whilst the beat is a bouncy and joyful backdrop. What a way to round off an incredible year for the Lancaster-based producers.
Stream Gold below, and if you missed the mix they did for Mary Anne Hobbs, I suggest you check it out here.
